Pets provide some of the happiest moments in our lives. They are devoted companions who give us unconditional love and acceptance. For a pet caregiver, the loss of an animal friend can be one of life's most difficult experiences.

Making a donation to Lewis Clark Animal Shelter is a personal way to honor the memory of a pet, a kindred spirit. This meaningful gesture will keep the spirit of a lost loved one alive, while helping all our pets in need.

With you donation, Lewis Clark Animal Shelter will send a card of care & sympathy to the person or family you designate to acknowledge your thoughtful donation.  Send a story honoring the pet and a clear digital picture via e-mail or a good quality clear print by US Postal Service and we will post a memorial page on our website.  Click here to see our current memorials,

Cremation Services

Loosing a pet is a heart rendering experience for you and your family.  The decision for final disposition is a personal choice.  Lewis Clark Animal Shelter now offers cremation services.  Memorial urns are also available upon request.  Please call for more personal information.

Brass engraved memorial plaques are available for $25 and will be permanently mounted at the shelter.

Serving Lewis Clark Valley  for over 55 years, the Lewis Clark Animal Shelter provides vital services to animals and people alike through sheltering and adopting animals, providing positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable animals and for owned animals through public training classes, investigating animal cruelty  and neglect, providing adult and youth education programs, sharing animals through pet-assisted therapy and rescuing animals in emergency situations.  A private nonprofit organization that receives community support through contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the shelter's

Gift and Thrift store and some fees for service.
