Corporate sponsors support our community work

Bob Barker

Mr. Barker has helped fund our spay/neuter clinic for three years.  He is committed to continuing that help as long as we  are committed to community outreach with our clinic.

In the last four years our clinic has altered and vaccinated more than 6,000 dogs and cats.  That's six thousand dogs and cats that will NOT be littering our streets, allies and fields with babies there aren't enough homes for.

The Western Regional Manager for The ASPCA, Sam Marsteller has graciously mentored us for several years at Lewis Clark Animal Shelter.  She has flown in to inspect and advise. She held a workshop for shelters and rescues in our valley and steps up to help find resources, training scholarships,  political advocacy, books and friendship.

Recently Sam recommended us for a grant the ASPCA / FreshStep (cat litter) cosponsor.  The grant is designed to improve the adoptability of cats housed at the shelter.  We appreciate Sam and the ASPCA for all they do for us.   THANK YOU!!

                           ASPCA - Fresh Steps

Thank you for making us Partners in Caring

                         with a $15,000.00 Grant

The ASPCA/Fresh Step Safe Steps Home program rewards outstanding shelters across the country doing innovative work in the cat homelessness arena. Since 2000, Safe Steps Home has promoted national education and awareness and provided financial grants for programs around the country which are helping to keep cats safe and to find permanent, loving homes for cats in need.

The ASPCA/Fresh Step Safe Steps Home program is administered by the ASPCA National Shelter Outreach (NSO) Department as a Partners in Caring (PIC) grant. The PIC grant program, a unique partnership between the ASPCA and the sheltering community, enables us to more effectively administer funds to organizations of merit.  ASPCA donors who would like to see their contribution applied directly to hands-on activities of worthy groups now have an attractive option in the Partners in Caring grant program.

The ASPCA awards Partners in Caring grants to animal protection organizations across the United States.  Grant recipients are generally organizations with whom we have developed a relationship, often by spending time at the facilities getting to know their people and programs.  Based on this knowledge, we are confident that the Partners In Caring grant recipients will make effective use of the award to benefit animals and the community.

The ASPCA views its grant recipients as our true Partners in Caring.  When this grant is awarded it marks our support of the sponsored programs.  All Partners in Caring recipients will also be afforded the opportunity to participate in select future ASPCA sponsored programs and special projects that benefit animals.
